Josh's 2024 season

I haven't been posting much this year but I've still been checking in every couple days. Life's been crazy, my bussiness has really took off, but last week we had an electrical fire in the middle of the night and I lost everything at the shop. All the tools it's taken a couple years to buy, a customers semi got burnt up and a few other things that are not easily replaced. It's been a rough few days but I've got alot of people that have backed me threw it and a few great customers that are helping me out. I'm not real sure how the insurance companies are gonna handle it yet but I've decided nothing can be changed and I'm gonna keep going. I haven't done alot going into this season but was able to go clout today with the kids and get a few of their spots ready. And I will still be going to kentucky for the opener in a few weeks hoping to get a shot at a velvet buck that I hunted all last year down there. Here's a few that we are hoping that stay around.

Washing clothes and getting things ready for kentucky this weekend. Landowner says all the bucks are still around so hopefully these Temps coming in down their for the weekend won't change them up much. I think the coolest we have ever had down there for the opener in 6 years of going has been about 85. Showing mid 40s at night and low to mid 70s during the day. My cams in ohio have slowed down a little but a few are still hanging around.

Well my kentcuky buck tag is filled. With my first velvet buck, besides the spike I shot in Tennessee a few years back. I hunted this deer last season when he moved in during the rut, he took the place over and made it home. I'm usually the last one with a buck tag now I'm wondering what I'm gonna do the rest of the year. My brothers are still hunting and I think they have a good chance the rest of the weekend.
