11:05 this morning her and another nice doe were bedded only about 80 yards from me. They got up at 10:30 and feed my way on acorns. 15 yard shot with a zwickey on a Alaskan yellow cedar shaft. Watched her go down after about a 60 yard run. I couldn't be happier! Back straps and burger

I’m out. Lone mature doe has been somewhat regular here. Lots of acorns dropping, with the breeze and temps I’m hoping for some action. Had 3 new bucks show up here overnight, no shooters but still gets me excited for the coming weeks.

First real good sit for me tonight. Me and the kids have been skunked the last 3 times out, went by myself tonight because I had a shooter daylight yesterday I didn't see him but saw 2 other good deer. And 4 does.
