I watched, first 2 rounds tyson had moments he looked like his old self. Once I seen his legs start to go and that he was flat footed I knew he was done.
Sounds like it was the fixed snooze fest I thought it would be, so I'm glad I went to bed. I'll get my legit fight fix tonight.
Barrios vs. Ramos, and most certainly Taylor vs. Serrano 2 was well worth it. Those woman put on a show!
Paul vs. Tyson......horrible, complete waste of time but the youngest 2 wanted to see it. If you didn't see it, you should be thankful.

I can't believe I stayed up and then couldn't see it. Our Netflix refused to work. My son found a stream on TikTok. Some dude videoing his TV with his phone. So we watched it on my son's cell phone screen. Stupid.

The Mike Tyson who showed up in the ring was not the same Mike Tyson shown in the training clips. It was arguably one of the most disappointing things I’ve ever watched on television.
What’d y’all expect outta a 58 year old man? There’s a reason they’re all done by their late 30’s….. Experience only goes so far…… That’s why old men fight dirty, or carry guns…..

20 millon bucks for 16 minutes seems to be a fairly good hourly wage. About 75 million bucks an hour. Although I wish Mike had knocked him out.
That nibbling on his gloves was the most frustrating thing about the fight! They shoulda had a chart up showing…..Lol, the way he was nibbling on his gloves, I could only imagine what would have been next ....

Tyson threw that fight. He took his 20 mil and walked. Shame really but you could see the guilt on his face when he was walking to the ring. He knew he was selling out his legacy, but after the shady stuff he's seen in boxing, why not be that guy for once.
Tyson could have finished that fight in round one or two. Paul was open and exposed many times and Tyson just never took the opportunity. Even when Paul threw a big hook, Tyson ducked it, bobbed to the side and jumped in under Paul's elbows, yet he didn't throw the punch. A CLASSIC Tyson move yet the combo never came, his gloves moved like he was about to, but he pulled them back in. Paul knew it too, he brought both his gloves to his ears and sprinted backward to avoid it. No use though because Tyson would have given him a left to the body to bring Paul's head forward and in that same moment caught him with the uppercut between the elbows that Tyson is FAMOUS for. There were numerous times where Tyson could have destroyed Paul yet he didn't.
Tyson has always bit his glove but NEVER that much. Boxing is a sport of who can last the longest with the least cognitive ability. After a couple of rounds and taking a few good punches it's all a daze. Training and muscle memory take over and it's a sport of almost involuntary reaction. Was Tyson slow on his feet, yes. Was he dazed pretty early, Yes. Would that have stopped him from being able to throw some brutal and powerful combos, Hell no. I personally believe he bit his glove to mentally remind himself to not unleash involuntarily like his decades of training had taught him to do.
