19 degrees. One family walked by so far. Orange army are fighting some fierce battles around me.
Only 3 shots so far, and only 1 was relatively close. Tys getting antsy, but not ready for school yet lol.
I'm wondering what effect a 450BM round would have on an annoying squirrel at 20yds? Asking for a friend...
Had big 6 point in close a while ago. He wandered off. Gonna get Mallory in this spot tonight maybe she can get him.
I really wish God woulda had a little more sense of humor and the deer could blow loads on peoples faces.
My kid would need a towel right now and my buddy would be none to happy at this point.
Done had to ask my kid if he was gay 5 times….

What a shitshow of a morning for Dan...Had 3 does come in at 850, had the biggest in sight at 10 yds and pulled trigger, nothing. The bolt had been pushed up a little and wouldn't fire. I had to sit like a rock and let them walk away until I could re-run the bolt and be active. Took like 20 minutes. Shot at the first doe and missed. Shot at the second and thought I'd missed, so I shot at the little one and definitely missed. It hopped away, then just walked away like nothing happened. I waited 20 mins then got down and looked for blood. Found a pretty good trail where second one was, do followed it off the property leaving my gun because i have permission to recover but not hunt there. Ended up jumping her...she stood up and looked st me but didn't run....I backed out. Tried calling landowner no answer. Went to see him, got permission to go back and finish her off. Waiting till 2. So I bought 2 bags of corn off the landowner for 5 bucks each then went to town. At local outfitters I bought some burlap for the treestand and an extra 450BM magazine. Now eating lunch.

Bad morning where I'm at . Had a guy come in 20 minutes after daylight stare me down then climb in a stand that he hung on the wrong property... decided to sit tight an see what happens. WW3 started on the other side of the main road so all the deer started pushing down our way. Every time they got out on the trail he shot. I know he killed 2 for sure . Then he got down and started dragging the deer around which kicked a bunch more out that ran to the neighboring property which started WW4. 20 minutes later the first guys buddy decided to come walking in and climb up in his buddies stand while his buddy walked all through the woods hooting and hollering trying to push deer to him. Cut my losses and left
Sounds like the type of dumb shit that makes me glad I don't care that much about killing a deer anymore. Bummer.

Down south for our annual deer camp. Down here with my dad, Nate and my buddy Eli. We did some scouting yesterday and it paid off for me in the first hour or so. Eli and Nate saw nothing, my dad saw a young doe and small buck but no shot at the doe. Had my doe drug out and took an hour nap before Eli and Nate walked out. Grabbed lunch and heading back in. Burned my public land doe tag so I’ll just stumble around with one of them and film this afternoon. #facknate
Big 6 is making his rounds. Came in for lunch and he just walked by one of my other blinds. Mallory gets off work shortly I'm gonna put her in there tonight. Hopefully he comes back out.
Congrats to all the killers so far today! Combine just moved into the larger N field, this week just got better if he gets it all off w/o issue
