Are you guys thinking that deer is looking away? I think the deer is looking at the cam and those spots are eyes. Peds are in front of the ears. If looking away you wouldn't be able to see them. If looking at us with head tilted up, you would see them either.

I couldn't believe at first I was gonna disagree with Ric aka Mr. Deer Guru himself.. I triple checked that photo and enlarged it first before I went out on that limb...

I believe you actually changed your mind. I think you said the deer was looking away at first. Either way, Ric was WRONG!
