Not surprised. If you notice the left always points out the extremes when attacking anything and never acknowledges the middle. "You killed the climate tax so we're all going to die in 10 years" "California is burning because we ignored climate change."

Like it has nothing to do with building houses 5 feet from eachother in a valley known for centuries to have high winds and fires.

I made a joke on the phone once to the home warranty repair people that we needed to get my dishwasher fixed because my backup manual dishwasher was getting pissed. The lady on the phone DID NOT think it was as funny as I did.

I made the mistake while shopping for a last minute valentines gift with a buddy of saying “Get her something useful, like a broom”. We were surrounded by women at the time and not a single one of them got the joke.

Years ago my wife asked me if we should get a rice cooker. I told her they're nothing but problems. She asked how I knew. I responded "I divorced her ass didn't I" She laughed and I called her a racist for laughing. (For those that don't know, I was married to an Asian woman so I can make that joke without being called racist.)

I made the BIG mistake of buying my late wife one of those Swiffer Wet thingamajobs for a stocking stuffer one year. I was reminded not to buy stuff like that for Christmas whenever I saw it unused in the basement until I threw it away. My girls still laugh about it sometimes.
