I was going to suggest if he is from Semi rural or suburbia (which is a lot of NE Ohio), he attempt to inquire property owners that may have an urban deer problem. Throw a little bit of money at them, next thing you are shooting does out of jr’s tree fort and her flower garden stays unbothered...

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a true wild pheasant. I grew up next to a game reserve that was surrounded by several pheasant farms. It seemed like they were every where as a kid in my part of Erie/Sandusky county, but I am certain they were all pen raised.

I would love to see the reemergence of pheasants, more habitat and access in NW Ohio. But all the organizations around here just want to take non hunting kids hunting, donate to hunter safety courses and pay administrators $$$$. The odnr provides an excellent options for educating and anybody...

I will actually consider this as long as funding hunter recruitment or hunter safety courses are not priorities . Both literally are pissing donors money away and the main objective of so many other conservation non profits that are worthless.
