He wanted to hunt so bad today. Ended up being a stump shooting contest with not much squirrel activity. I won because I'm pretty sure he was shaking like hell from the cold, he stuck it out for awhile.

Buddy Rick brought over his Cur Lainey to hunt some squirrels. First time for me with a dog. We had a blast! Rick lets me coyote hunt his farms and has been itching to hit a couple of mine. Already scheduled for next Saturday morning.
We denned about the same we killed.

All I can say is I’m very grateful and thankful for the time I got to spend in the outdoors with family and friends and the memories made with the hand I was dealt this year very successful year and thanks to @giles for being my deer taxi this year not having a truck anymore I appreciate it much. 2025 deer season is a wrap and one for the book

I take one or two a season from my property. It's in the oven with a few onions brussels carrots garlic seasoning and a bay leaf.
And it's little heart.
