They had a pretty good morning. The only bird I had in range was a Jake. The big bird gave me the slip which was good since he still has a couple of hens to tend too. Maybe I’ll catch up with him again when they are done with him.

No. The first year was the year prior to the early muzzleloader season. I think it just worked out to be a good time to do it because the 4th weekend everyone wanted to be home to hunt the back yard.
