Unfortunately no the snow turned to rain all night long and washed away every bit of sign I had. I grid searched several hundred yards back to the main bedding and came up empty. Im guessing I was farther forward than it seemed and missed vitals. Sucks I'll prob just hang it up for the year.

Had this guy daylight this morning

Got an arrow in one but not real sure on the hit, may have been little forward they came in downwind and she caught me drawing when my rubber boots squeaked on stand cable. Saw 13 in last half hour of light. Gonna look in the morning.

Im out, was sitting thru the blizzard to hopefully ambush one at prime time. Guess the landowner decided that right in a snowstorm is the best time to cut and haul firewood. Goes right along with how this year has been. Almost time to throw in the towel.

Im settled in. Wind is doing some crazy stuff but it's crunch time so playing risky games lol. Target buck daylighted 2 days ago while i was at work, and is here bout every night at dark. Be nice to atleast see something.

Had everything lined up to move in on the target buck tonight, rushed home, pulled in and the landowner was burning brush 50yds from my stand..fml...flew back home for plan B up in the saddle behind my house not expecting a thing lol

Out here grinding, got a pretty good one coming through at the edge of evening shooting light the last 3 days that ive been at work. Hopefully he repeats it.

Chalk up another skunk for us too. This year has definitely been a challenge. We'll be back out tomorrow afternoon hopefully it'll be better.

It is quiet and I have good visibility so just hoping to see something. Kid wimped out till the afternoon so im in our perch scouting with the omega lol. We have a couple new bucks that have shown up in the last week but seems everything is nocturnal. Freezer is low and trigger finger is itchy...

Kid apparently thought it would be more fun making Christmas cookies with her cousins and sisters so I'm out solo where we coulda doubled on does last night. Any other year they'd been in trouble. We have a decent herd of does here behind my house and we're doing our part to hopefully keep it...

Mom n yearling so far

Back out with my oldest, saw one cross the top of hill so far..they were in here last night or this morning, we'll see if they come back..we have a pretty sketchy wind for this spot but I'm gonna take her as long as she asks, these times wont last long.

Im not sure how I made it in without scaring every animal within a 3 mile radius but we'll find out. If anything, hopefully pushed stuff back toward my place for the evening with the kid. I have great wind for this bedding, I'm high in a tree and I can hear for a long way. Hopefully i beat them...
