Thats awesome! How hard was he quartering to you? I dont see many videos of that shot placement. I still consider myself in beginner mode and need input/opinion on shot placement if thats the only one that presents itself.

I will say they are good at customer service. Are you running the micros?

Yea make sure that SIM card "clicks" when you put it in otherwise youll get thousands of pics, or none. My recent issue is the LEDS went out, so no flash for nighttime pics Ive had delays in getting pics, not getting pics at all, corrupted firmware, etc. Their main "fix" is firmware upgrade or...

I have two of these and to be honest I have a huge love/hate with them. I’ve sent 4 back actually, it’s been issue after issue. One guy in here swears by them, so maybe I just have bad luck of the draw lol

I did, two of the cameras are RMA from Spypoint. "You get what you pay for" I guess, was hoping if I went the SPARTAN route that their would be less issues. Thanks for your trail cam expertise.

Stressless: honestly I don’t know where to start. Ive been through three spypoints since October. The longest any of these cameras have lasted is two weeks without needing a “hard reset”, “firmware upgrade”, new batteries etc..I’ve had them glitch out and take no pictures for weeks, and then...

Im a pretty die-hard country music fan and live music junkie. These two are in a whole league of their own, dont think I can pass this one up.

I grunted in my first bow kill October 5th, actually two grunts and two bucks ran right to me. Another guy had the exact same scenario happen the night before. In terms of rut, Im not experienced enough to know if this was total coincidence or not, but thought it was interesting and rewarding.

Update: it was another "maintenance" issue that Spypoint had to fix..

bowhunter, I have the same camera and have liked it so far except for right now. Actually I have had the issue twice now where it would not get past the "Connecting" page to view photos. The first time was a maintenance issue, this time not so sure but its been going on for over a day now...
