I will always have labs. Just got a silver lab in July and have a 10 year old black lab. Been training the pup to trail deer and he has been doing great. Did his first real trail two weeks ago. Heavy blood trail for over a 100 yards and stayed on trail and found it.

I was in stand 20 yards away watching him hit scrape.

Had a good hunt last night. Small buck came by twice and made a scrape and attacked a sapling. Right after sunset a borderline shooter 8 made a scrape at 20 yards and offered no shot. Glad he didn’t because really didn’t want the temptation this early.

That’s an awesome pic. I’ve had my 8 year old daughter out a couple times. My goal is to get her first deer in Next couple weeks hopefully. I will start hunting This week during the cold front. Gonna sit over a scrape a 13 point visited last camera check.

Farmer grows popcorn in one field by me. All I know is it tastes pretty good coming out of my microwave.

I’d take the 200 right around my house in west central Ohio. I think any area in Ohio if pretty good if you can keep the pressure low. I hunt these woods with who knows how many other guys.

I like the Cabelas outfitter camo on my wooltimate clothing when it gets colder. And have mossy oak in my early season dream season clothes.

Friend here in northern Mercer county shelled some corn over the weekend and it was between 200-240. Too bad price is terrible.
