I got a feeling our opening day will be a warm one!!!

If you get drawn in the Deer Creek, I highly recommend sections 1-3, I was in 4 and it was too thick to hunt in most areas, and lots of people walking through due to the horse trails and sites. I know a 140 class was taken in Section 2 last year, and a monster was taken the year before in section 1.

I will say that I haven't heard one person say it's an awesome hunt! So I am not getting too pumped, I got some nice bucks around my area back home and would be happy to harvest one of those dudes!! There was a nw guy whose been drawn the last 3 yrs so he has to have some success??

Nice!!! I think just about any section looks like it has some good pinch points and secluded fields. It will be interesting ! I am setting myself up for not seeing a deer! Last year I got a reality check on a controlled hunt!

I was amazed at the lack of bugs! I think all week we had one mosquito sighting!..... Flys? NONE! Is that typical, anyone that is from up there or have a history??
