Just replaced a Vortex Impact 1000 (no issues at all over 5 years) with a Vortex Crossfire. Only switched because I wanted the illuminated reticle.

I bought some Grundens 2 years ago and they’re still going strong. Super comfortable too. Not a fan of the price tag over $100 for 1/4 of a regular rubber boot but such is life 😂

Or when I likely expand in 6 months because I give up my diet and working out 😂

Finally got around to trying on some of my hunting clothes today, and my Solitude Coat and Bibs are way too big on me now. Both are in great shape and show 0 wear. Stored in plastic totes. Asking $225 for each. I can ship, meet ya or whatever works. They are size XL and fit me perfect at 6’1”...

I was surprised when the dude at TSC said I’ll come out and help you load it. I figured he thought I was a bitch (it’s true but whatever), but jesus, it’s gotta weigh 50lbs+ and incredibly flimsy and awkward to move 😂

I ended up getting a 4’x6’x3/4” stall mat from TSC on sale for $35. Built a frame for it out of scrap 2x4s and has been working perfectly. Only thing I wished I had done differently is maybe made the backstop slightly smaller, because those stall mats are unbelievably heavy lol.

@Jamie i guess I never want to stop learning lol. Slight change in angle, height, etc can make a big difference on the effects of your arrow and where it lands, and a free app that can show that doesn’t hurt.

I saw a Facebook reel talking about this app. It looks like it only works on certain targets, but could be a pretty sweet learning tool for shot placement at different angles- especially for beginners. I have yet to use it, hoping tomorrow morning when I get off work to give real world...
