    Best range finder

Just replaced a Vortex Impact 1000 (no issues at all over 5 years) with a Vortex Crossfire. Only switched because I wanted the illuminated reticle.

    Velvet 24'

Pair of dinks, but it’s the first time I’ve ever gotten pics of bucks sparring in velvet. Went on for around 4 minutes and seemed like they were getting pretty aggressive all things considered.

    1023's 2024-2025 Journal

Looking great Jesse! Looking forward to your updates.

    See Through Blinds

See Dave that’s my problem, I am a dumb ass lol. I typically don’t depend on the blind to conceal my scent any more than a treestand and always try to the play the wind. Maybe I’ll get one of the cheaper ones and give it a whirl.

    See Through Blinds

This is what I’m referring to.

    See Through Blinds

Does anyone have any experience with the kinda new “see through” material pop up blinds? I like the idea of them, but just curious how well they’ll cut the wind with that material? And what the durability is compared to the normal material. I need a new blind for the upcoming season, and that...

    HISEA Deck Boots

I bought some Grundens 2 years ago and they’re still going strong. Super comfortable too. Not a fan of the price tag over $100 for 1/4 of a regular rubber boot but such is life 😂

    First Lite Solitude 2.0 XL

Or when I likely expand in 6 months because I give up my diet and working out 😂

    First Lite Solitude 2.0 XL

Finally got around to trying on some of my hunting clothes today, and my Solitude Coat and Bibs are way too big on me now. Both are in great shape and show 0 wear. Stored in plastic totes. Asking $225 for each. I can ship, meet ya or whatever works. They are size XL and fit me perfect at 6’1”...

    Archery Back Stop

Like I said, I framed it with scrap 2x4s, reinforced the corners and made 3 “legs” to keep it upright. Have a shit ton of old bricks and pavers laying around that I have to keep the target up a little higher, and to completely eliminate any chance of super low shots sliding under the back stop...

    Archery Back Stop

I was surprised when the dude at TSC said I’ll come out and help you load it. I figured he thought I was a bitch (it’s true but whatever), but jesus, it’s gotta weigh 50lbs+ and incredibly flimsy and awkward to move 😂

    Archery Back Stop

I ended up getting a 4’x6’x3/4” stall mat from TSC on sale for $35. Built a frame for it out of scrap 2x4s and has been working perfectly. Only thing I wished I had done differently is maybe made the backstop slightly smaller, because those stall mats are unbelievably heavy lol.

    QuivAR App (Shot placement analysis)

@Jamie i guess I never want to stop learning lol. Slight change in angle, height, etc can make a big difference on the effects of your arrow and where it lands, and a free app that can show that doesn’t hurt.

    QuivAR App (Shot placement analysis)

I saw a Facebook reel talking about this app. It looks like it only works on certain targets, but could be a pretty sweet learning tool for shot placement at different angles- especially for beginners. I have yet to use it, hoping tomorrow morning when I get off work to give real world...

    Big 3-O today

    That’s awesome. Congrats.

    Archery Back Stop

Putting in a small range at my house in the near future now that I’ve cleared out all of the brush the previous house owner left for me. I’d like to think I’ll never miss but I have to be mildly realistic lol. What have you had the best luck with? I’ve seen stall mats, hanging a rug over a rope...

    Official TOO Catch Thread

Erie and some of its tribs have been good to me lately. Smallmouth fishing has been pretty good, and a lot of those pesky walleye in the mix too.

    Moultrie Edge Cell Cam $60

Plus it stings less when a $60 cam gets stolen rather than a $150+ lol

    Moultrie Edge Cell Cam $60

I planned to try a different brand for the upcoming season, but couldn’t pass up 40% off with the Amazon days or whatever. I have a couple of these already and don’t have any complaints. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B6WSWZPW?psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&ref_=chk_typ_quicklook_titleToDp

225 down to 178, crazy what exercise and dieting can do for a fella.
