Ohio has them listed as endangered so it would be like shooting an eagle. If you shoot one your in big trouble. The ONLY way you can kill one is hitting it on the roadway or if it's a life and death situation that you better have video for proof.

There's been black bear down in your area for years. I remember hunting with a buddy down there back in 90 or 91 that had claw marks on the tree from where one climbed up. He had hunted there a few days earlier and watched it climb up and down that tree. We found footprints in some mud up here...

I couldn't let Brock and Seth have all the fun to themselves. A few guys know this by now but I ended up with my license and finally have the thermal drone up and running as well.

Gotcha. I try not to shoot a doe if it has yearlings. Did that one time and that fawn grew to be a pain in the ass for several years. She would bust guys in the stand every single time. I know of myself and 2 others that had issues with her and could never get a shot at her.

Work has me scheduled for the next 2 weeks solid so no option unless I call off

Seems we currently have plenty of doe to choose from according to drone footage. Now I just have to get myself in the woods and wait for one without yearlings to walk by lol

Thanks man. I haven't even put a single camera out this season. Work has kept me busy since the beginning of July. When I finally make it out it'll be what it is and I'll bring home whatever gives me joy. If it's a doe or a booner makes no difference to me lol.

Thank you Jesse for allowing us to share a fire on your peice of heaven. It was a great weekend with plenty of laughter and great food. It was great to see and catch up with those that made the trip. I feel like I got to relax and get my mind back to a normal state.
