    Beagle connection

Well, she didn't bite you as soon as she saw you, so that must say something for your character.

    It's my corn!!!

Here's one I'll bet you don't get on a cam. They are feeding, not a BJ. Just had to point that out for some of you!

How big is your herd ?

After taking 2 behind the house I still have the everyday eight. The most I ever saw at on time was 16 and that was only once.

New toy from the Cambridge gun show last Saturday.

Mr. Hodgen loved a load he developed for his .22-250. It was 38 grains of that powder he later named H380. In the Speer book for a 55 grain projectile, 38 grains is starting, 42.0 compressed is max. My favorite with the 55 grainer is 35 grains of H4895. Use your books, see what your gun...

    It's my corn!!!

I have seen them do that at my place. Usually their ears are folded back. I wonder if mine ever think "hey, there's the corn guy. I'll bet I can take him!"

New toy from the Cambridge gun show last Saturday.

Because of the volume I like to shoot, almost everything save for the .17 Mach IV gets some kind of cast.

New toy from the Cambridge gun show last Saturday.

Got me a new to me rifle last Saturday at the Cambridge gun show. Got a nice Marlin in .444 Reminton. I will probably make it another cast bullet shooter. Do you think it will stop a coyote or will the bullets bounce off of his chest? I think the buttstock has nice figure.

    Turkey choke

Remington themselves offered two choke tubes that stuck out beyond the end of the barrel. One was called an extended full and the other called a Turkey full. I have both, both are very good. The Turkey full has a knurled end on it for quick hand removal. It is my choke of choice if I had to pick...

    Smallies

I got a place at Rye Beach near Huron, Ohio. Just outside of Cranberry Creek Marina is a very good smallie haven. Check out their web site, very informative, good weather reports, many gurus there. It is also one of my go to walleye places. http://fishcranberry.ning.com.

    Comments/Reviews on Electronic Callers?

Saw some crows across the street today. Put the Scorion on the back deck and used the remote from inside the house. Put the fighting crow sound on and told the wife to watch this. They were over the back yard in seconds! Tomorrow is Friday, crow day.

    Faulty Remington 700 Rifle

My 3 Remingtons work great. I have never seen a bad, not working safety nor even heard of someone who owned one. But I will be anally aware to keep them pointed in a safe direction at all times because of this.

The good ole days of 10 limit walleye

Is the limit 4 year round now or just in the spring like last year? I never got a limit of 6. I could do 5, but not 6. Here are the guys who own the lake house behind mine from 2 seasons ago. They have a 26 foot boat.
