    2020 sheds

Can’t believe how many bucks I’m seeing still holding in Northeast Ohio. Explains why we aren’t finding that many.

    2020 sheds

Ticks are horrible up here in Northeast Ohio. I give him one of each every month and they never bite him or attach to him. He gets bathed after every shed hunt.

    2020 sheds

Thought Buddha found a match to the one he found last Monday. Now seeing them side by side I’m not so sure. They were within 50 yds of each other. Think it’s the little brother of a she’d heard found last year??🧐

Nice job!!! Love split brow tines and antlers with character!! What part of Ohio? Spent the last 2 days searching with no luck. Did see 23 different bucks in different areas still holding both sides and 1 small half rack. Got the new Vortex 12x50 and could see clearly enough that none had...

    2020 sheds

The last (2) years I just made a call to the Police Department and they came out with ODNR tags (in my city they have them for when a deer gets hit by a car and someone wants roadkill for some reason) and they fill them out for you. Phone video of the dead deer and google map point location is...

    2020 sheds

Just curious why you wait for the WO to get there? I know you need a tag for deadheads, but, I’ve always took a good video of the deer and scene and sawed the antlers off, washed & scrubbed and gave them to the dog. I actually wait till the end of March and go get ODNR tags from the Police...

Not sure if I’m trying to convince myself it’s the same shed; there’s a lot of differences!!

No Public Land. We go only private where we have permission and I know there isn’t any coyote traps. Took him to Portage county once and he started to dig a trap out; was seconds from going off and we were done from that point on!!! I actually have the same shed (same side) from when he was a 3...

    2020 sheds

Have no idea? We go out 2-4 times a week for anywhere from 3-8 hours. Usually stop around end of March when the dog park opens for the season. Usually lose 15-20lbs. Last year he found 33 not including dead heads.

    2020 sheds

I’d say 95% of the bucks I’ve seen are still holding😐... such a weak winter, no stress on them.
