It looks like we have agreed on a deal on our Athens County property. It's a bittersweet time. Lots of great memories and trying times. But we can now move on to other things...hopefully bigger and better.

Bittersweet moment for sure. My options someday: Move to Deer Camp, give it to one of my kids if they have interest, or sell it. Tough call on each option but it’s 20 years off.

We have closed on this property. Sad to see it go especially right before turkey season but a good family has it now and will take care of it. They said the deciding factor on the purchase was the knotty pine ship-lapped walls on the inside of the cabin.

Thanks fellas. It sure eases my mind getting the money in hand. I’m really going to miss the turkey hunting but honestly the deer hunting there will not be missed. Just when it started getting good the neighbor messed it up. The new owners may be able to keep up with him.

Got to ignore the paint and carpet. . . And ship-lap. That can all be changed. Happy to hear it is gone Spence. Someone else can deal with the douche neighbors now.
