Man that’s crazy. I really want to believe it. I’m sure it’s legit. But what are the odds this happens to a guy that makes his living selling traps? Like, that’s a hell of a statement and advertisement for the holding power of his traps. Could he have brought in two coyotes on catch poles and snapped a trap on both of their paws? Sure could have. But I hope it’s legit.

There. Buzzkill post complete. 😅

I had the same thoughts. Even doing that with catch poles would be a bit tricky.

I would have liked seeing a pic from a little farther away. I see very little sign of a catch circle in that picture. Maybe they were just caught IDK. There's always a catch circle were the ground is distributed from the animal trying to pull free. I could see this happening! Maybe its hard for them to move and fight the trap. Looks to me like they haven't been caught for very long the best I can tell

Jeezus JIm.....lmao.....

But the point of your post - it's a shame we've all been subjected to so much lying and deception and bullshit by "hunters" and poachers who lie and try to pass off fantasitcal stories to attain some kind of glory or financial gain. We've become jaded. And rightfully so. I don't blame you for being skeptical. And yeah, as mentioned, those two look too good to have been in that trap for long.....but what do I know?

Fool me once.....

I know, I know. If he wasn’t the owner and soul promoter of No-BS Traps and Lures I wouldn’t be anywhere near as skeptical. But what better way to promote the effectiveness of your trap than showing not one BUT TWO coyotes in the same trap? I doubt he’s that kind of person but hey anything is possible. And like you said, it’s just a shame that we’re wired to think that way nowadays.

The lack of an obvious catch circle is pretty strange too. But maybe that would be normal with having two coyotes anchoring each other down and limiting movement.
