Who knows.. Anyone else shoot push tacks at 100 yards?

I shot the head of a nail with my .17 Mach IV at 100 yards. You can see in the pic where the bullet vaporized. Took 3 shots to hit it. Head of the nail was smaller than head of a thumb tack. Tacks would make good target now that I think about it.

They make good little targets. Dad has a .25 pcp air gun that we shoot tacks with at 35 yards in his back yard. You can see em explode in the scope.
