These were all taken with string first to get these measurements, I understand a tape measure is stiff and inaccurate so these are the true #'s

Well I just realized my dumbass left the muzzleloader at the house this morning for pics. With little sleep thanks to the little one keeping me up since 4AM, I'm a little scattered brained! We don't have to count these points since I forgot to do that if anyone objects...

That buck has some very impressive measurements! Great mass circum. at the bases and world class beam length and character to boot. Any indication on his age?

Sorry boys, I tried to shoot a doe in the head offhand at 50 yards during muzzy since I really didn't want to drag her out from where I was, but I missed. LOL

Thanks fellas. The measurements are not exact but they are pretty close. As far as the age go's I am kind of perplexed on that one. I am going to make an educated guess at 5 1/2. The thing that confuses me though, is that in 2011 he had 9 points and was quite a bit bigger than he was this past year when I shot him. He either is older than I think and was going downhill or the drought this spring and summer really effected the growing conditions for his rack and it didn't develop to full potential ( this one is probably what it was ). Either way, I have his jaw bones and am going to send them off to have the tooth dissected and aged. He's on the wall looking at me right now, just cant seem to find the interest in getting him scored. I probably will eventually.
