2014 shed season

Brock I have a buddy who's neighbor raises deer and he has one that will score around 300 and he is still holding his rack. Figured he would have shed by now.

According to Dean, there should be quite a few on the ground out there now. I'll probably make it out there but will spend my time lling lies in the clubhouse vs. Shed hunting. I've just never developed a love for it as most of you fellas have.

Shed hunted this today for a couple hours and found two dead bucks. One is a nice 6 point and the other is a 3 that I fished out of a creek.

I'm going to go back there next weekend. Tomorrow is our clubs first 3D shoot and after that my buddy and I will be working on my little cabin on our land. Its ready for insulation and I need to pick out material for the walls and ceiling!

went out this morning and didn't find any sheds but did find a deadhead , I had alot of trail cams pics of this youngun, guess I won't be anymore he was a decent 7, tried to upload the pic but it said it was too big

Covered some serious ground. It was work to find old tracks in the snow. I did score some new shed hunting ground though. Going to leave it untouched for Ron and I. Not sure it has ever been shed hunted. Doesn't sound heavily hunted either. Truthfully not sure it is "huntable" property. Mostly open field.

It belongs to a deer I know. He was the one I passed on a bunch during bow season. There are pics of him in our team thread and in the shutter bug thread. Wish I would have found the other side to match.

Put some miles on the boots and the quad today. Nothing found while on foot, but on the home stretch back to the truck I told my dad we should cruise this one final woodline. I was over a hill where he's afraid to ride (Lol) and I hear him yell "get over here!" Old
scout cut me off and cashed in. Lol






Made for a good day after we thought we was gonna get skunked.
