2015 turkey chicks

Thought I would start a thread on 2015 turkey chicks. The wife seen some in the yard last week. These three was with a hen this morning in pouring rain.

Always good to see them doing well. Haven't had any on our cams yet but they've been soaking for a month since last check.

Glad to see that Frank. I'm guessing we lost most of our hatch around my place. Most of ours nest around the river bottoms and they have been in and out of the banks 3 times around here with over 15 inches of rain in three weeks.

Another group of chicks today and they look larger. There was 3 hens and these chicks.

Saw 4 in a bean field by my house and 6-9, couldn't get a accurate count, at the bird feeder pulling in from work yesterday. Pretty excited to see that many to say the least.

Group of hens and 2 chicks went through the yard. The 2 chicks sure are growing.

7 turkeys just walked through the yard. Less than 15 ft from the window. First 5 where Jakes and the last 2 where long bearded Toms.

And these 2 chicks are in the front yard now with 4 hens. Life is great in the country.
