Started working on my atv last Friday. Had to figure out the problem why it wouldn’t start. I turned the key on and press start and could hear clunk sound and wouldn’t start.
So, I took the battery out, took it over to autozone. They tested it out and it was dead fuck. Had 6 months warranty left , they swapped it out with a new one. I put the new battery in and hoped it would start, sure enough it did, whew. It had not be driven in like a year or so. I ended up going to rural king to get battery maintainer to leave it charge.

Now that I have a property to hunt I’ll have a place to ride and check on trail cams and such. So, I changed the oil and filter to get er’ fresh and ready. Pressure washed it really good underbody.

I was planning on buying a motorcycle but I decided I wanted to upgrade my atv. Plans is get new wheels, tires, shocks, lights, lifted, etc. Will update when I can

I have the Iron Baltic aluminum skids on my Rubicon and love them. They do make the thick plastic ones too. The aluminum does make some noise, but its not that bad.

I would also recommend some good storage. I can carry both my chainsaws and gear in the back box and head out to cut. I have a front box. I used a Plano 36 rifle case. Wanted something low profile and the other options were too much $.
I have used the crap out of my Polar trailer. Hauling anything I need to.

Lol, you are going a different direction than I was thinking.

You may have to look into gear reduction at that point. I run mine around my yard doing projects. My grass/yard would look like hell if I used that!!
