Looks like next year's deer hunting regulations are set. It's on the ODOW page but I couldn't figure out how to link just what I was looking at on my phone.

First thing I thought too. Looks like all our work for getting our deer numbers back up will have to continue with a 3 deer limit in Meigs.

Another Meigsican checking in here. Not sure if I'll take 3 in the county or not yet. It sure is handy to hunt for free outside my backdoor, but it might be worth it to buy a permit and make the trip to a neighboring county for some public land archery.

Yep and every doe you let walk is just another doe for another hunter to shoot. Looks like the state is still trying to reducing the herd numbers.
I count my blessing with the honey hole I've got here on the farm. Perfect surrounding brushy areas and a 110 ac hay operation on my adjoining neighbors farm. This has increased the deer sightings in the last 10 yrs by a factor of 5. With me putting in the year around food plot is a great drawing card for deer sightings for me. Only problem I have is over hunting the area.
