Since shooting a buck is just a small part of why we all enjoy the outdoors; and lets face it some of us don't ever stand a chance if that's the only metric for scoring, we decided to add some additional ways to earn points this year. We also decided to simplify the way the antler scoring was done as it was a little tedious.

There will be three ways to earn points.
1. Harvest of a Buck
2. Entry to the Monthly "TrailCam Picture" Contest
3. Entry to the Monthly "Story From the Field" Contest

Scoring.
1. Buck Harvest.--- Number of tines + Longest tine in Inches (At or above a half inch Round up / Below Round Down)

2.TrailCam Pic --- Post your pic in the monthly thread = 10 points. Win that months contest = 5 points.

3. Story From the Field -- Share a story in the monthly "Stories from the field" Forum = 10 points. Win that contest = 5 points.

A person who shoots a 10 point with a 10 inch G2 will receive 20 points. However, a person who isn't lucky enough to shoot a buck, but enters both contests each month, even if they never win, will tally up 80 points.
So if you are lucky enough to shoot a good buck then you better be Jonny on the spot with your side contest entries to hold your lead or someone may pass you up.

Prizes

  • The highest scoring person from Each Team will receive a TOO Logo Plaque donated by our very own craftsman Chad, and a banner next to their name for the year noting their win.

We gonna throw any youth bonus points in this one or does points. Or since it's bigger teams leave it alone? I always liked seeing pics of the kids getting it done.

Nah, we all do it throughout the season anyway. As easy as uploading a TC picture to a thread and sharing a couple paragraphs of a cool outdoor experience once a month.

In this way it gives the guys who can't knock down a giant every year a shot at winning too. But still preserves the ability of the guy who does kill a biggun to maintain his lead.
