Finally getting around to sharing this sequence.

Here is a buck that just dropped one side a second or two before this pic was taken.

This is me walking right by it the next day with portions of it covered with snow. I have my first shed of the year under my left arm which you can’t see. I found it behind the camera 5 yards away.

Here is the pic I took a week later as I approached it from the front after snow had melted. You can see my camera in back ground.

We talk a lot about that feeling every diehard shed hunter gets when he finds a shed. Here is a pic of that emotion. 😂🤣

I always wonder how many sheds I walk past every year. Twice I recall stopping to talk with someone and after a minute or two, I just happened to look down and there was a smalll shed at my feet.

Pic just this past week of one still carrying headgear. Earlier in the week there was a second, even smaller, buck still carrying too.

Well I walked my ass off today and found an oldie but goodie shed, well...sort of! Spotted it from 35-40 yards away from high on a point looking down into a once flooded out crick bottom below a dozen or so crane nests. I thought it looked very weathered and the pedicle looked smooth as I studied it through my binos. So I slid my way down into the bottom and walked up to it and took this pic.

Wouldn’t you know, it turns out it’s one side of a set of store bought rattling antlers someone evidently lost several years ago😳😂🤣

Got it home and took this pic. You can see a dog or yote or other critters carried it around by its tips by all of the teeth marks on the ends. Lol

Can’t believe after all the miles I walked today with April starting tomorrow that this is all I found. 😂🤣😂
It’s going on my shed pile anyway. Haha

Brian(Boarhead) invited me up today to walk around some and maybe find a shed or two and just catchup. We had great weather and walked some of the best whitetail habitat I’ve walked in awhile. We each found 2 sheds today and walked between 7-8 miles and had a great time in the process. Thanks again Brian!
Here are a few pictures.

I’ll share more tomorrow after PB downloads them...🙄
