I’m a simple man really and I absolutely love the outdoors, whether I’m working in it, playing in it or just simply hanging out, the outdoors is my comfort zone, just ask the wife
I suppose you can blame my old man for that because he ingrained that country life in me since my early childhood days.
Hunting and being safety conscious pretty much goes hand in hand the way I see it.
Having that ‘BE-SAFE’ mindset before I even walk out the door generally pays off in dividends, especially at my age nowadays I'm sure.
I’m no longer a young buck anymore and that took a little convincing from those that are close and apparently still love me, thank GOD!
I’ve always been an independent sole and making decisions throughout my life has always been a trial and error thing, no question about it. I've always learned from my mistakes one way or the other. I don't expect to change in that department anytime soon.
So, my goals are to always come home in one piece.
Hunt some new places, some public land and get into some different counties ‘TOO’.
I’m truly in love ‘Mother Nature’ and what she always has to offer, so with any of the wildlife encounters I have, I’ll study and learn from as best as I can. I’ll try use those experiences to gain any upper hand over the game I hope to harvest.
I’m also a patient hunter, so I’m never in a big hurry to fill any of my tags.
.
Shot placement and being as ethical as one could possibly be is extremely important to me. I’ve hunted with some in my past that no longer hunt with me today because of their bad choices and that’s truly a shame.
I hope to harvest more deer this year. I’m about out of venison completely and I really don’t like that, so I intend on harvesting more than just the two deer this season.
And last, but not least, I look forward to meeting as many of the ‘TOO’ members as possible at Stroud’s 2019.
It’ll be nice to put a face to the name, that’s for sure.
Best of luck to all of you this season and may each of you accomplish your goals!!!
