Shot a good 130s 10pt in the shoulder last night. Must have been square in the ball because I only got about 5 inches of penetration. We backed out and let him lay. Jesse and I picked up the track at 10 this morning and jumped him from his bed 500 yards into the track. 16 hours after the shot he lit out of there like nothing was ever wrong. No limp or lethargic bounding run, just flat out busting brush. Trailed him another couple hundred yards and he crossed the road, hopped a creek bank, and went in a big marshy hollow. He'll live and isn't mortally wounded.
