2022 Rut Report. What County? Conditions?

Watched the deer i want to shoot a 4.5yr old locked on a doe which i believe he was sniffing on yesterday morning bed down at noon today in the middle of a mile corn stuble square. They got bumped and moved 150 yds by a tractor at 3pm and laid back down. 4:45 they stood up with the tractor getting closer making rounds. He mounted her then more statue standing for awhile. At one point the tractor stopped i think to take a picture when they were laying there. Farmer even got out and take a piss which did make the deer stand up, but they laid back down when he started working ground until darkness.

Doe groups are starting to stack up around my house on my morning 6 block cruise. I saw 3 large groups 8 or more antlerless together which isnt common until now for around here. Each group had a young buck chasing the whole group around trying his best to get lucky. Spotted a lockdown pair coming home for lunch. Seems like another typical rut. Maybe just a bit less active daytime movement due to hot weather at the start. Alot of cruising mid day yesterday.

Chasing again this morning early up through first light. Bunch of paired deer together in the hard woods as well! Guernsey co.

Deer acting like it is July around here. Seen a couple of bucks grazing together.

Rounded the corner to find a smaller buck grazing with about a dozen does.

Seen a SLAMMER basket rack 5 point chasing a doe hard in a field. When I seen them first, they were in Clinton County. He chased her all the way to Fayette County! Then in to Highland county!!!

I agree with you, all my cameras have gone silent with the exception of young deer. No mature does to be seen.

Yesterday morning a nice buck was locked on a doe in a back yard of a newly constructed house a mile south of me.

Gun opener is gonna be legit! Seen 2 different bucks guarding does in fields this morning!!! Let's go!!!!!!!!!

Saw a big one standing over a doe in Hocking Co this morning
