We dosed our pants with Sawyers today. So far, seem to be tick free.
You were the first person I've seen roll like I do. In the truck door at all times.

I am not going to doubt anyone. And those stems look like they were up since the last warm spell we had. But that is the earliest I have seen yellows in ohio. I usually find my first around apr 4. Congrats to who found them that is very cool.
I agree. I was taught that Early mushroom pictures are bogus unless there is a receipt with date and time in the picture. Not picking on anyone In general it just happens too often.

I took a little walk today after I got done mowing at High Voltage acres today. It sure was nice to be out in the woods and observe some game and other wildlife. A Box turtle did leave me in the dust while I was cruising along with my cane, and I did not manage to trip over any Morels like I was hoping, but I did luck into these nice young Pheasant Backs. Enough for dinner. I looked for more but didn't find any.

I did, however, find this Blacksnake. not exactly something you see every day. I'd estimate that this is about a four-footer and is at least 15' off the ground. Oddly enough, this is the first snake I've ever encountered on my property, and it is on what was once my magic mushroom tree, loaded with Chicken of the Woods for the last few years except last year. I also saw a Bald Eagle perched alongside a creek on my way home only a mile or so as the crow flies from my place. I also found a lone turkey egg in the middle of the woods near a couple of potential nesting areas in some thick brush. I thought that a bit odd, too.
