I'm keeping it simple. I need one for the freezer. I want to enjoy my time in the woods. Be thankful for my blessings and shoot straight.

I'm with you. I have almost no drive to do anything other than some freezer meat, enjoy my time in the woods and be with friends and family in the woods as much as i can.

Simple but fulfilling

I think my only real goal for this year is to shoot a deer that doesn’t have buttons or lost its spots within the past month or 2. I’d hate to end a 20+ year streak though

I hope to hunt several counties in a quest to have hunted all 88. Seems reasonable.

Meat for the freezer. I'll hunt 2 weekends if Im lucky, so I gotta make it count. Both of those will be with great friends. Hope everyone is safe this year.

Getting some of our young bloods in our family on some good deer and getting one for the freezer. Haven’t even thought much about deer hunting yet but enjoy seeing the velvet pics everyone has shared so far. I’m charging and getting my cell cams ready to give bro @Fullbore to deploy next week on our farm. Starting to feel that itch…..

Main goal is to get Jon a bear so that both twins will have harvested a NJ bear... As for myself... Just to spend some relaxing time in the woods... Don't really care if I harvest something...

I'd like to dove hunt more times than deer hunt, fish more times than anything. I do want to have my boy see more mature deer to get his blood going. Stay safe. I have zero desire to hunt deer until it's cold enough to hang them without the help of ice or a cooler. Pretty much turning into a gun only hunter until life settles down some day unless something large runs by my house. I want to see Jon kill a bear that's as big as he is...

My main goal is to have fun hunting with as many friends as possible. That’s it. Everything else is just a bonus.

Well after waiting 7 years for me and the boys to get an area 5 Iowa tag, the trip hunting w my boys will be epic regardless of kills. We’ve blocked out almost a month to get it done so I should get some good quality time with them. After, I will be hunting ducks hard with a deer hunt on the property here and there. Cooler weather cant come quick enough.

At this point I have no goals. Expectations I have is to enjoy what I have and build some memories with good people.

We sold our property and are in a new place with 53 acres so it’s an entirely new game this year. I need to get out and scout as much as I can between moving stuff. I’ll be content just sitting in a stand taking it all in. Meat in the freezer is a bonus.

Harvest as many as possible for the freezer, it's all fair game this year for Ty & I. Would love to see him spend more time in the woods this year if sports allow. Spots, BB, WV 11pt., monster Booner's....bring it on!

Shoot a giant in Kansas in September, take it easy till November. Probably be a little selective here in Ohio. Hopefully my kids shoot something for the freezer. Waterfowl hunt with them as much as possible.

getting the kids on deer and spending time with friends and family. i do have a goal for myself and its trying to kill a buck ive had 3 years of history with. im gonna try to not get caught up in trying to pursue just him ive done that before and its miserable.
