Mrex took a kayak trip yesterday. He found 15 in the creek and claimed he could smell twice as many that were presumed on the bank in the weeds.

It always seems to be more severe in pockets. I presume weather patterns/herd dynamics come in to play along with areas the midges were also concentrated for whatever reason. Just guesses though.
Thats no bueno this early. Hopefully we'll still see a few bow kills hauled into Strouds come mid-Oct.
There is the smell of death everywhere down here. It’s awful. Almost unbearable.

Athens and Meigs literally have something in the water. It seems like they have dealt with it far more than any other county.

Is it bad that I am happy it is finally happening in someones back yard that matters? For years I have yelled about this nasty waste and no answers. But now it is being heard because it is someone who matters being effected again. Hopefully we see some policy changes.
