Everyone of them better be pregnant


There were at least 2 more does at the feeder 500 yard south of there at the same time, and one more off screen, so we had 10 does on their feet on 80 acres. We're going to rebound our population in a year or two, but our mature buck population will take 3-4 years to truly recover. If I have one buck older than 3 next year, life will be good.

I drove around the main farm yesterday, pretty damn disgusting still. I am not going to walk around this off season to find any. Just going to let be what it is and figure it out next year. Id say BBs are in danger for the next few years. Lol

Make that 15 total. Got another 5 coming past the first trap I set. I'm the only one with food out right now, so I'm getting a solid inventory of the neighborhood ahead of spring. Feeling good about the decision not to hunt and let things settle for a year!
