Congrats all of you successful gun hunters.

I had this little guy within bow range a couple of times but could never get a good shot. He was in bow range again Monday morning but was not able to elude the .41mag revolver at 8 yards. Legitimate legally antlerless deer. Longest spike is 2 3/4". Freezer filling now complete, buck tag still waiting.

I was 100% sure both his spikes were 3" or less the first time I pointed an arrow at him weeks ago. I would not have shot him otherwise.

I've been out sneaking around late morning last couple days..up to 15 or 20 seen now several probably the same. Still no racks. I was finally surprised with the first mature deer on camera. Several scrapes had been hit last night or this morning.

Lots of shots first 2hrs then got quiet. Saw quite a few in open fields to the N as always. 10:45 two yearlings popped out on our side just as i poured another cup of coffee, mama stepped out at 10:50 all kinds of skittish at 120yrds, just long enough to get a .350L thru the pumper. Ran about 70 and piled up. Keep it going fellas!
