You're correct on the grips they really tame it down. The sight is actually a cheap one I put on at last minute after I realized my vortex mount didn't work. Its a fox army fxa12. Guy at work turned me onto them for my range guns. Seems to hold up well for normal use this is the first time I've had it on anything bigger than a 9mm . So far its held up to about 400 rounds of 9mm and around 60 rounds of 44 mag

Guys on the next property did a drive during the last hour of light. They managed to send 8 deer my way all doe an a small 6 . Back at it tomorrow

It is what it is man, a fun gun toy. I giggle when I play with it, it has no real purpose other than that. I let the kids at work decide what I was using this week. I just told them it had to be a handgun. Being a revolver junky I was thinking something old and with soul that I had. Nope this fucking meme gun is what they choose, so I slapped a dot on it and here we are. I’ve been close several times this week, with bucks, you know because I don’t have one of those tags anymore

We woke up to a gift today. Back in February, Kenna found the right side off a buck I started calling Half Baked. He disappeared on September 29. He showed up this morning on the same trail he left on at 5:50A this morning. I was convinced he was dead, but he ain't, so here we sit hoping to meet him!

Good luck fellas. It's funny, how you can stare at a patch of woods fo a few days, not seeing any deer & believe it's the most desolate place on earth....and when deer DO enter, it's the most exciting placec to be. Hang in there !

We had a Brock-approved morning. All the fun, none of the mess. We saw the same 6-7 deer multiple times. We witnessed a 6-point bully a BB all over the place, which I suspect he was doing in the absence of a mature doe and the doe fawn that was his running mate, being close to estrous. She was on the bow 3 times, safety off once, but not shots fired. We had a fun hunt and she seems satisfied with it, so it was a good day (in my best Ice Cube voice).

My girls won't shoot a gun, so they're still using the crossbow. Kenna was in the hot seat today, I had the 450 just in case we saw a yote or the big boy outside her range.

Ah I forgot you guys are caliber restricted also, that makes sense. You cant use a 9mm AR pistol or 5.56 like my youngins can here. If they had to shoot my muzzzy or something they wouldn't either.
