Levi found one out back the other day.

I walked around for about 2 hours and found 2 skulls and a "basket rack" 6 pointer antler.
The small skull was a button buck and the bigger buck looked like someone had sawed off the antlers. Both of them were about 60+ yards from the highway, so they were probably hit by a vehicle and that's as far as they made it before they died.
Oddly enough, that was the same location that I found the small antler.

I don’t think any matched. He did find a matched set on this piece earlier while we were pheasant hunting. It was last years set from a deer we’ve seen quite a lot.

Added another 2.8 miles today with no sheds found.

Did about 7 miles yesterday with only 10 dead deer found, 6 does and 4 bucks. Two of the four were definitely ehd kills having velvet still on them. That puts the buck dead head total to around 17, I've lost count at this point...

Tony went for a walk this morning. This was the only set he was hoping to find and as it turned out it was all he found. He is super excited obviously but there is a real chance he will not be able to hunt this farm next year.

Couple sheds on his morning walk. He got bored and wanted to go to the bar. Probably head out again next week...counted 16 still holding both sides and only saw one with both sides shed.

Congrats to all the successful shed hunters. I walked almost 29K steps today with the overcast sky’s and more rain coming and got skunked today.

We had to call Mason into work at 830 because our delivery truck arrived early. He had just started his walk and found this one ten seconds before we called. lol. This is last year’s antler and we believe it is off the deer he called “the 160”. He will definitely be one we look forward to seeing this fall!
