25' Buckeyes

Sorry @Bigcountry40 I don't see it. What I see is the ref came up talking, it looks like the ref reached out and touched the player to get his attention. The player turned, recognized it was the ref, made eye contact with the ref, looked him up and down, made a statement arguing with the ref, then headbutted him. That was a deliberate movement. Even after his fellow players pushed him away he was still pissed off and running his mouth with zero remorse. I have zero dogs in this fight. His ass should have been ejected.

The only thing I can see is that's a very common thing to do to another player when they're in your face talking crap. A nice helmet to helmet bump as the players run their mouth. Pretty common actually. It could be a case of him being so used to doing it and his emotion being so high it was just a reflex. The fact remains he headbutted a ref and should have been tossed.

Had to jump in a plow truck before game ended. Listened on the radio. Got texts from my 77yr old mother, God bless her. Still taking care of her babies. 😁

First quarter was ugly. I'll say it again: Bo Jackson is something special. Heard Wests name a few times on radio but not sure how he did. Donaldson and Peoples might get playing time just to rest Jackson moving forward. Even in the red zone Donaldson doesn't impress me a lot.

Glad to see the outcome. Looking forward to watching a replay.

100% w/Ref! Minimal, Coach should have pulled him for a play. Leaving him in was the same as a cosign for the action. And it wouldn't matter which team he played for... I would feel the same way.

Explanation of the head butt was given- Ref approaches player, who was complaining about what O STATE player did and was demonstrating to the ref what O State player did to him and accidentally bumped him, crew got together decided since it was not intentional they would not eject Michigan player just 15 yard unsportsmanlike. It’s almost like I knew what I was talking about based off of past experiences and being heavily involved in the profession. Still believe no flag should have been thrown, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. After games at the high school, college and professional level reports are written and include all unsportsmanlike penalties.

No matter how many times you write it and explain everyone seen the same thing it’s not going to change anything. Just like fake news they think if they report it enough people will start to believe them.

This is why no one wants to officiate or coach anymore. Obviously this is a much deeper subject and has many layers like an onion. But imagine dealing with 25 screaming moms on a accidental collision up the 3rd base or going to 1st base, people will see what they want to see they know better, even though officials get together collaborate and come to a logical decision based on the variables in past and present moment.

Did the games notes include that the ref apologized for startling him in the heat of the moment, for being so short compared to that beast of a man playing D1 football? I mean, how dare we ask them to do their job and not got abused while doing it😁🖕
