357 maximum round

There is some interest in the 357 Maximum round for deer hunting. Now there has been a 357 Maximum rimless round developed for the AR. Uses a 223 case with neck cut off and inside diameter bumped up to .358.
It will be a reload only round. Just build up a new upper and mount on your AR lower and go deer hunting.
If any real interest I'll post up the links. As I may get one myself. Do I need one? No but always interested in trying something new.

I have two H&R Handi-rifles in 357 Max shooting 180 gr with 1680 powder running 2300 FPS.

I use a Encore with MGM barrel for deer hunting & it has been extremely terminal every time. Also using 1680 w/ 180 gr XTP's. I believe it is pretty much same as a 30-30 and is much more user friendly than the big boppers for kids, ect. Would definitely be interested in knowing more if similar is usable in AR or bolt. What is it called & what about 223 being a tapered case?

New round is called 357 Maximum Rimless (357AR) uses a slightly shorten 223 case. The 223 body is formed out to a straight wall case .357 diameter.
