Yeah, I am also having a hard time deciding what to bring. Going to bring some stuff I canned for sure. Salsa, sweet pickles, hot pepper spread and sauerkraut stuffed peppers (will bring brats to go with it).
Actually I just thought of it. I have venison/pork sausage that I made that I am pretty proud of. I will bring them. I will also bring stuff for breakfast one morning....Breakfast burritos.

I'll have the chili covered if that's ok. I only have spicy Italian deer ground left so I'm kind of limited as to what "wildgame" food I can bring. Of course, we could have a chili cook-off. Lol
I now have it on my list to bring my smoker along & do a beef brisket for Saturday. Imagine Rics special sauce on THAT !! Hint hint

I suggest several of us bring some kind of dessert as well or at least something. I'll bring a pie or two or maybe a cake! Hey, wouldn't it be SWEET(lol) if we had a big sheet cake with some kind of writing on it signifying this TOO event! Like, TOO's 3rd Annual Bowshoot or something! If someone had a membership to Coscos I heard they have some nice sized cakes and if everyone kicked in a buck or two that's be covered. Just a suggestion...

I got the cake covered! I will take care of that because I didn't kill a deer last year so I'm a little short in the wild game department.

VERY FRUITY CAKE!
I only have a 6 1/2' bed on my truck, i don't think that's enough to bring as fruity a cake as them TOO would need. Haha

I know when ya order a cake they figure one piece per person and that's what ya order. Just as an example 1/2 sheet feeds lets say 50 and 3/4 sheet feeds 75. Like I said that's just an example but I'm thinking enough to feed 100 (100 pieces) as the bakery sees it. Do y'all think that would be a good number? I know people will eat more than one piece because we're planning on eating from it all weekend. Let me know what you guys think and if ya think that's a pretty good number.
The wife and I are going to be going up to the lake the Friday after next. If we get into a big mess of perch I am sure I could bring some of that for the fish fry portion.

Don, I think 75-100 pieces would be more than enough. I'll bring cookies also. It'll be a dang smorgasbord!!!
It's gonna be like the hunt last fall, we'll have more food than we could possibly eat in a weekend.
On a side note, I've decided I'm gonna BBQ something, as I've been messing with my sauce and think I have it perfected. Just not sure what yet.
