To hell with spring sports for one weekend! I'm sure we'll be skipping games, but family first!

I spoke with the lady in charge of everything at the campground over the weekend. Site 25 isn't reservable b/c its for "VIP's", meaning anyone that works at the park is allowed to reserve it whenever they want. Site 17 is going to be closed until May 1st b/c it is being made into a "Full Hook Up'" site. She told me that as soon as they are told that it will be opening she would give me a call. There's a chance it will be opened earlier.
That being said, anyone who is on the fence or knows they are coming, we would really like to see sites 18 and 23 scooped up as soon as possible, this would ensure that no-one else is around our area that we will all be hanging out in. Both are still available right now.

There's a few of them right there all getting full hookups. Being that I can't get to my valves...I kinda need hookups, lol.

I like the idea of a fresh crappie fry! I know my girls will want to help. Need a canoe rack for my camper!

Honestly Jesse, while a canoe would add to the experience, if the lake is not blown out from spring rains you can catch all you would want from the bank that time of year.

I’m gonna try and make it out there this year. Probably travel Wednesday and work on my property Thursday...that’ll free me up on Friday to stop in and show my ugly mug...then turkey and shed hunting will start Saturday!
