8.5 yrs old

Probably should of posted this in the original thread with the buck, it’s been a while and folks won’t remember what it looked like. We see quite a few good bucks around this site throughout the season...
I did, nobody responded lol. Only got the results this past Friday. I might make a new post with pics and full backstory in thr future, turns out we know this deer since 2014

I spot and stalked this deer in Seneca county on oct 30 2019. He was bedded with a doe along the edge of a slough in a cover crop field. I crawled 500 yds in the rain and setup within 35yds of the 2 of them bedded. I shot him at 31 yards when he followed the doe out of her bed

Here is the same deer from 2014, he bedded in that soy bean field 2 days in a row that year. I was too afraid to stalk him that year even tho the wind was perfect for it. I had him at 63 yards broadside and didnt shoot on the last evening. Always regretted it. Never seen a deer bed in that field in the 5 yrs we hunted the property. 2019 i spot and stalked that buck in the same field

8.5 is a good one. You done real good on that deer!
You also handled yourself extremely well through the fuckery in this post. Please don't let the actions of a few run you off. I remember this deer and I'm glad you came back and told us the results.

Huh. Did I miss something? He asked about other people's oldest bucks and that's what most people posted to include if it was their first?

This is my oldest. Trail camera pics go back to 2011 when he had distinguishable rack. Saw him and videod him out of bow range in 2015 with my son in the trigger seat. Got video one other time but I do not recall the year. 2013 or 2014 I think. He was dubbed "the old man" in 2015. Killed him in 2018.

Don't let these guys screw with you. I get where xbowguy is coming from. There were some goofball pics posted. What the freak does Giles in fatigues have to do with your post? Disregard. We are happy to have you here. Congrats on an old deer. I doubt I ever shoot one as old as the one from last year again. It is very difficult to track year to year unless they have a unique rack that doesn't alter much and you have pics every year.

Ah... So a pic out of place is suddenly some great travesty and confrontational? Can you point me to any threads that don't have someone somewhere posting something off topic, as a joke, making a wise crack, or something else? Can either of you honestly sit there and tell me you've walked the straight an narrow when it comes to not posting off topic? Or is it simply who posted it that's the problem because I've been noticing a pattern. If that's the case then you know where to address that to get to the bottom of it.

Now that WE have derailed this thread more than any picture ever would have, if you don't mind I quite enjoy the topic.
