Hey welcome to TOO. Pull up a chair and stay a while. That's a gaggle of turkeys for sure. Are they there in the spring or just flocked up in the winter?. If I had a nickel for every property I saw with a winter flock that was devoid come spring I'd be a millionaire.

Welcome to the forum! That sure is an encouraging picture of all those turkeys. I just shot my first turkey last spring and that picture kinda made me tingle a little, gets the blood flowing.

Are you a turkey hunter too?

Mike, I hear you, I used to see them that way in winter when I was stationed in ND. I normally see them run around here most times of the year in groups of 3-6. Sometimes see a dozen, but not usually. I tried to post another video, but evidently this site doesn't support MOV file. Anyhow, these aren't snowbirds, they're here, but was the first time I've seen 30 or so in the driveway

Dannmann, I hunted turkeys once with a friend's son in N Indiana, and bagged one. Was quite memorable to hear him scratching away on a slate, then from out of a morning fog came Mr Tom thinking himself the most impressive sight our one hen decoy had ever seen. Honestly it was more memorable for who I was hunting with, and seeing the turkey, than pulling the trigger. That part of hunting has appealed to me less as I've aged.
