My buddy saw this dude out in the field yesterday evening with about 6 other dink bucks. He is peeling his velvet. This dude didn't grow any larger. He's a hell of a seven and should be something worth shooting next year. Maybe... lol

We'll they showed back up... Well, just as i thought. Not shooters. Pretty spindly racks.... Haven't seen ole tank in a while... I'll be about a 1/4 mile away in the direction the cams facing opening day hoping something bigger comes through the cut.

I'm coming up close to JD's guessimation as well. I'm coming up with 140- 142 gross. The beams are always the toughest to judge but I figured 23" per side or 46"total. Spread around 15.5 to 16.5 on the inside(again tough to judge by the angle). I'd have a hard time passing a 140" class CLEAN 8.........but thats me! Hope you wack a monster Joe!

Those are both real nice bucks. I would shoot the tall 8 before the wide 8, but damn fine bucks either way. Hope you get a chance !
