AJ and Pete arrived yesterday afternoon. I drove them around the farm last evening. We saw a few deer, they are scouting now. Fwiw, Mason likes the way they talk...

In a tree for the first sit tonight. Actually in the same stand Phil and Garrett killed one from opening day. I wouldn't mind having a nice fat doe stroll by. Or even a small one. Not to picky right now.

Saw one 6 point tonight. Awful warm tonight so I'm sure that slowed down the movement. Headed back to the same spot in the morning.
I had a big bodied deer work the field edge around 730am. Couldn't tell what it was. Turns out Pete could see it from his stand across the field. It was a good 8 or 10 point. That's 2 sits and 2 bucks so far.
We got down around 930am and went to set a few more stands and a couple of ground spots. We've got plenty of options on this farm.
