This will be my first year running cameras, (I know its 2015, don't laugh) and ive got some good pics already. The first one was taken may 1 and the last 2 were taken on the 30th. It looks to be a good start to the season. In your guys opinion how old do you think the buck is in the most recent pics is? I was thinking it is an older deer based on the roundness of the belly, but wanted everyone's thoughts. Thanks for the info!

Id say at least 3.5 but I'm not the greatest at aging, especially in the summer. Looks like he's gonna be a nice one though!

It's really tough for anyone to guess a bucks age by looks(in person or by photographs, IMO) The only sure way is if they were pen raised or history with one with distinguishing characteristics.

I'll agree he's "prolly" at least 3 right now. Lol

Haha, yeah I agree, guessing age is a crap shoot, Im hoping he grows into something special, and sticks around this fall.............

I know nothing about age, but he is off to a great start. Should be a dandy by October.

Checked the cam this weekend and got some does and fawns on camera. Plus this guy, if its the same one as last year, he was high and tight and saw him a bunch early in the season. Maybe he'll turn into a shooter maybe not. No more pics of the one I posted above though.

So checked the cam this weekend and finally something to really get excited about. Looks to be a 4x4 with some mass. Although the pics kinda stuck, that's what you get with a cheapo cam. The young buck which I'm guessing it's a 2 and half year old has some real potential.

Is it me or isn't buck 1,2 & 4 the same deer? Very nice buck BTW! Heck of a nice pull! Hope you can get that rascal on the ground this season! Good luck!

Yeah they're the same buck, tried loading pics from my cell phone, haha. Switched them around on me. Oh and thanks for turning them up right too!

Looking good! If would recommend not getting another wild game camera, they aren't reliable at all. Great buck though!
