Looking for some advice or tricks to get pigs to walk better? Honestly these are the best we have had for this time of the year, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!! This is only our 3rd year and I never took hogs, I stuck to cattle, looking back I should of jumped over to pigs! Much easier!!! Any part that we need to improve or back off on TOO. Even finishing advice, we are 26 days out from show day.

You need to get those heads up. Hang an old milk jug from the ceiling just high enough they can nudge it. Add a couple rocks for noise.

Besides that, they look pretty dang good.

We been working on the heads, will try the milk jug ! That sounds like a good idea, they are curious suckers!

She has some good pigs, all 3 are a little different so hopefully she will do ok.

Well both my daughter and our gilt did really good this year!!! So proud but still kinda sad, I let my self get attached to this gilt. She was a good pig ! But super proud of how my daughter worked this year! She did a great job in the ring, gets better every year!

Look at that head position! Congrats

She was a natural chin up walker, it was too easy to get her to walk, the judge pinned her soon as she came out the gate every round! He said during the champion drive, just let them all out I got my Grand Champion ! I was beyond happy but sadden bc I had a plan to breed her for next year!
