Any harmonica players out there?

This is the song I want to learn to play along with Tom Petty...

Hoyt nailed it. Skin flute references. Plus the reference to being a hobo or in lockup.

You started to get positive feedback and I didn't want to derail your thread. I wish you the best. Whether it is a piano, guitar, drums, or even a harmonica, my hat is off to those with the ability to play them.

Tom Petty comes to mind but don't forget Bob Dylan either. He had a good bit of harmonica songs.

OK.... my last request.... although i'm not a huge Neil Young fan, this song has some great harmonica bits in it. Skip the first minute if you don't want to watch him find the right one to play :)

I appreciate. If we all took the juvenile humor avenue with people trying to learn things on this site, it would be a ghost town around here...

Good luck with the harmonica, i messed around with one as a kid but never anything serious. Heart of Gold is one of my favorite campfire songs on my guitar so work on that one ;)

I messaged a friend who plays on facebook, i'll get back to you with what he suggests.

Did you guys know that Bruce Willis is a pretty good harmonica player?
(he likes blues playin...)
