Got back from our Colorado trip a couple days ago.
We spent a few days in Rocky Mountains National Park. Drove Trail Ridge Road from Estes to Grand lake, did some hiking, and went horseback riding. My first time in this park and it is absolutely beautiful. Pictures and words do not do the Rockies justice. Saw elk, deer, and a couple moose.

From there we went to a water-park for the day (Waterworld) just north of Denver. Sorry, no pics of that as my phone was in a locker all day....
Then onto Colorado Springs. While there we drove up Pikes Peak (yea, I admit, that FREAKED ME OUT driving up that damn thing), visited Garden of the Gods, went to Royal Gorge Bridge Park, and visited a 'ghost town' museum the kids wanted to go to. Got to pan for a gold there!
Saw some bighorns on Pikes Peak. No rams, but cool to see anyway. Even saw Squatch at the top. Seems to follow me everywhere.....
Then the 13 hour drive home. Ugh...
