Our Wally has zero 38's in the store. From what I've seen, don't know how prices could be higher but then again, guess I better be quiet as it can only get worse.
This is the first time I've ever seen so many blank spaces at the gun counter in Buckeye/Vances. Place is starting to look like their going out of business or something.
I really think Walmart is phasing out ammo like Kmart did after columbine. The 3 Walmarts around me are almost sold out and the one guy said they wont be getting any anytime soon.

Even during the last run on ammo in 2008 they were the same.. The shelves were bare and when they did get a truck a week later they would have one box of ammo on it. I think the problem is Wal-Mart and other large retailers have a supply chain that isn't flexible to change. A massive snowstorm can be predicted for weeks and Wal-mart will still have only their normal capacity of salt that sells out in hours. They don;t need to chase profits, they're just like a massive locomotive slow and steady.
Our Cambridge Walmart has a good supply of guns. The ammo is almost gone, but they resupply pretty regularly.
Was at the Fin (Canton) Sunday just lookin for primers. No small pistol primers left, but the other sizes are/were there. Prices still good, limits imposed. 4000 per day, 1000 per type.
Rick just called and said that the Delaware Wally was out of 9's and .38's. He said they got in 60 boxes of Federal 9mm at 8pm last night and they were all sold by 9pm.
Fin in Canton got two AR-15s in this morning. $1200(on sale) and $1400. Couldn't get close enough to see brand but i believe they were bush masters. Also they are not letting anyone put handguns or ARs or ammo in layaway. There is also new limits on ammo. They had plenty in stock except .22. But the limits are 5 boxes for centerfire and 400 rounds for rim fire or 1 brick.
Fin is restocked. Close to a dozen DPMS, 1 S&W M&P, and a few others. Handguns had a lot more choices since last time I was there and ammo was not bad.
